THE CLIENT
Our exclusive client is a growing leader in the land lease / lifestyle communities space. They operate a number of communities around NSW, primarily on the coast north and south of Sydney. They are also in the process of building more communities, with exciting times in front of them.
THE ROLE
The operations manager works together with the general manager to effectively manage the organisation’s communities operating, communities being built and staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with the GM to ensure quality strategic management of assets, assisting with asset forecasting and budgets, sales, and portfolio development.
- Developing strategic plan to maximise ROI and to ensure delivery of consistently excellent service levels to residents.
- Ensuring operating practices, policies and procedures at community level are aligned to best market practice and compliant with relevant legislation.
- Ensuring day to day management of communities are up to standard and aligned with budgets.
- Management of staff.
- Preparation of regular and ad hoc reporting.
- Travel to and from relevant communities on a regular basis.
The package is flexible with a starting base of $150,000 per annum. Travel will be reimbursed and the base is negotiable. The role is based in inner Sydney, 4 km west of the CBD.
YOU
You are a great senior manager with experience in the lifestyle, land lease, retirement, and/or asset management industries, with demonstrated achievements. You can manage people, disagreements and a competing workload well.
